In 2015, James Harden scored 50 points in a single game, leading the Houston Rockets to a 116-114 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Harden began his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2009 and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. He was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year and helped the Thunder reach the NBA Finals in 2012. Harden was then traded to the Houston Rockets where he became known for his scoring abilities and was recognized as one of the best shooting guards in the league. in 2015, he became the first NBA player to have two 50-point game sin a single season and was named as the National Basketball Player’s inaugural MVP in 2015. Harden still currently plays for the Rockets and has the second longest 50-point game streak, at 6, just behind Wilt Chamberlain with a 10-game streak.
