On December 26, 1997, David Robinson scored 24 points to surpass the 15,000-point mark for his career. Robinson would end up as one of just 44 NBA players to surpass 20,000 points for his career. He spent his entire career with the Spurs, winning two championships, one NBA MVP award, and averaged 21.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game over his entire career. Robinson was also a member of the 1992 USA Olympic “Dream Team,” and is one of the most underrated NBA players of all time.
