In 2003, Ken Griffey Jr. of the Cincinnati Reds hit a game-tying home run in the ninth and a go-ahead homer in the top of the 11th . Griffey’s efforts helped the Reds defat the Florida Marlins 4-3. Nicknamed “the Kid,” Griffey played 22 years in the MLB and was known as one of the most prolific hitters in the league. he retired with 630 home runs and ranks as the seventh-most in MLB history. He retired with 10 golden Glove Awards and was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016.
