In 2016, Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans scored a career-high 59 points in a 111-106 win over the Pistons. The dominant performance also included 20 rebounds and four assists. The first pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Davis has built a reputation as one of the best offensive and defensive players in the league. In New Orleans, Davis averaged a double-double in six out of his seven seasons. In 2018, Davis also led the New Orleans franchise to the NBA Western Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2008. In 2019, Davis teamed up with LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers. The formidable duo led the Lakers to win the 2020 NBA title. Davis averaged 27.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the 2020 playoffs. Davis’ other accolades include 4x All-NBA First Team, 4x NBA All-Defensive Team selections, 3x NBA blocks leader (2014, 2015, 2018), and 7x NBA All-Star.
