In 1985, San Antonio Spurs guard Johnny Moore nearly achieved a quadruple-double in a 139-94 win against the Golden State Warriors. Moore recorded a ridiculous statline of  26 points, 13 assists, 11 rebounds and nine steals. Only four NBA players have managed to achieve the feat and they include Nate Thurmond, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, and Alvin Robertson. Nate Thurmond of the Golden State Warriors was the first player to do it in 1974, he managed to score 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, and 12 blocks in a 120-105 win against the Atlanta Hawks.  Although Moore isn’t a household name, he is actually one of ten players to have their jerseys retired by the San Antonio Spurs. Moore is only one of seven players to record 20 assists or more in a playoff game, and he also had two games of nine or more steals in a game. Moore played in 520 NBA games in his career and his number 00 was retired by the Spurs in 1998.
