Almost exactly two years after suffering a gruesome lover leg fracture, Paul George reported to Olympic training camp for Team USA in 2016. George’s injury prompted the NBA to alter its operations manual. The league increased the minimum distance between the foot of the basket support and the baseline from four feet to six feet.With the stanchion out of the way and the young star back, team USA had their eyes set on Gold. The healthy Paul George would get his redemption, helping lead the USA to an 8-0 record and a third straight gold medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
