In 1992, the Dream Team won the final game of the Basketball Tournament of the Americas against Venezuela 127-80. The Dream Team was assembled by USA Basketball for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. This all-star lineup was the first Olympics team to draw from working athletes in the National Basketball Association. It included Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Chris Mullin, Scottie Pippen, David Robinson, and John Stockton were named. Christian Laettner and Clyde Drexler. The undefeated Dream Team won each game by an average of 51.5 points and claimed gold in the 1992 Olympics.
