In 2001, the Lakers’ Shaquille O’Neal blocked eight shots in Game 2 of NBA Finals 2001 tying him with Bill Walton, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Patrick Ewing for the most shots blocked in a single Finals game. In addition to his defense, Shaq boasted a stat line of 28 points, 20 rebounds, and 9 assists. The Lakers won 98-89 over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. The Lakers went on to win the series in 5 games for their 2nd straight title.
