In 1977, Bill Walton blocked a record eight shots during Game 6 of the Portland Trail Blazers versus Philadelphia 76ers game. The Blazers won 109-107 and secured the franchise’s only NBA championship during an era that was later dubbed “Blazermania.” From 1977 until 1995, the Blazers fans sold out 814 games. Between 1983 and 2003, the team made the playoffs every year.
