Lamar Odom scored 30 points during his rookie debut with the Los Angeles Clippers in 1999. Odom was the fourth overall draft pick that year. He averaged 16.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Team in the following year. Odom plays for the Clippers until 2003 and increased his scoring average to 17.2 points a game in the 74 games he played in 2001. He one ton to play for the Miami Heat before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2004. He continued with the Lakers and, in 2011, was the first player to earn the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award, an award given to a high-performing player who came off the bench as a substitute, or sixth man. Odom played seven seasons with the Lakers and earned his career-high scoring average of 15.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
