On March 3, 1999, Milwaukee’s Dell Curry reached 1,000 3-pointers made in a 106-78 win over the Golden State Warriors. Curry was a prolific three point shooter throughout his career, averaging over 40% for his entire career. Despite his impressive three point shooting and winning a sixth man of the year award, he is perhaps best known for being the father of one of the greatest NBA shooters of all time, Stephen Curry.
