On January 23, 2018, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers became the youngest player in NBA history to reach the 30,000 point mark, scoring a jump shot at the end of the first quarter in a game against the San Antonio Spurs. LeBron also became just the 7th player in NBA history to score 30,000 points in his career, joining legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, and Dirk Nowitzki. Later in the same season, LeBron continued his case for one of the greatest basketball players of all time, becoming the first in NBA history to record 30,000 points, 8,000 rebounds, and 8,000 assists in a career. Now on the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron hopes to add multiple championships as well as build his brand in the LA spotlight.
