On January 7, 2011, Kobe Bryant scored 25 points in a victory against the New Orleans Hornets to pass Oscar Robertson for ninth on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. This was a part of Kobe’s all-out onslaught on the scoring list during the 2010-2011 season, in which he went from 12th on the list at the beginning of the season to 6th by the end of the season.
