On January 7, 2011, Kobe Bryant scored 25 points in a victory against the New Orleans Hornets to pass Oscar Robertson for ninth on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. This was a part of Kobe’s all-out onslaught on the scoring list during the 2010-2011 season, in which he went from 12th on the list at the beginning of the season to 6th by the end of the season. Kobe is considered one of the game’s greatest scorers of all-time, finishing his career as the number three total scorer in NBA history, making a lot of progress even through his later, injury-filled years
