In 2004, Orlando Magic shooting guard Tracy McGrady scored a franchise-record 62 points in a 108-99 victory over the Washington Wizards. The 9th pick in the 1997 NBA Draft, McGrady had a silky smooth jump shot and immense ability to score creatively around the rim. McGrady played 17 seasons in the NBA, but suffered nagging knee injuries in his latter years. One of the most memorable moments of McGrady’s career was when he scored 13 points in 33 seconds to lead the Houston Rockets over the San Antonio Spurs 81-80. The Rockets were down 76-68 with 35 seconds left in the game. In a miracle, McGrady made four buckets from beyond the arc, made a free throw to complete a four-point play and secured a steal to win the game. McGrady’s other accolades include 7x All-NBA Team selections, 2x NBA scoring champion, NBA Most Improved player (2001), and 7x NBA All-Star.
