Cam Newton was named the 2010 SEC Offensive Player of the Year as well as the 2010 AP Player of the year before winning the 76th Heisman Trophy in a landslide victory. Newton is currently the quarterback of the New England Patriots playing in his 10th NFL season. Before joining the Patriots, Newton spent nine seasons with the Carolina Panthers leading them to three division titles and four playoff appearances. In 2015, Newton guided the Panthers to a franchise best 15-1 record en route to a Super Bowl appearance where they lost to the Denver Broncos (24-10). Newton was named the 2015 NFL Offensive Player of the Year and became just the second African-American quarterback to win NFL MVP. Newton is a 3x Pro Bowler and has the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NFL History (53).
