The Celtics has a record-high 16 championships and the Lakers had 14 rings. The Celtics “Big 3,” Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnet helped the team achieve the most lopsided Finals victory in league history. It was also the first time in eight years that the top seeds from both conferences met in the Finals and the first time since 2003 that any top seeded team played in the NBA finals.
