Kareem Abdul-Jabbar becomes the oldest Finals MVP at age 38. He was unanimously voted the 1985 Finals MVP after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Boston Celtics 111-100 and won Game 6 of the Finals. This was the fifth time the Lakers appeared in the Finals since 1980 and the first time that the Lakers defeated the Celtics in the NBA Finals. The Lakers beat the Celtics 4-2 and won the 1985 NBA Championship.
