Mario Elie of the Houston Rockets helped propel the team to victory in 1995 when he sank a three-pointer from the corner with 7.1 seconds left in the game. The Rockets won 115-114 over the Phoenix Suns in Game 7 of their Western Conference Semifinals. The Rockets became the first team in 13 years to successfully come back from a 3-1 deficit to win a best-of-7 playoff series. They also broke a 20-game streak of home team victories in Game 7. The Rockets went on to win the 1995 NBA Championship.
