In 1999, Allen Iverson of the Philadelphia 76ers set an NBA Playoffs record of 10 steals during a 97-85 victory over the Orlando Magic. Iverson joined the NBA as the 76ers first overall draft pick in 1996 and was named Rookie of the Year his first season. Nicknamed “the Answer,” Iverson played 14 seasons as a point guard and shooting guard. He is an 11-time NBA All-Star, two-time All-Star game MVP, and was the NBA’s MVP in 2001. The 76ers retired his no. 3 jersey and he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
