Today in Sports History: April 10

In 2011, Ty Lawson of the Denver Nuggets played an impressive game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Lawson started the game with a new consecutive 3-point record when he went 10 for 10 at the start of the game. He finished the game with 10 out of 11 3-pointers, leading the Nuggets to a 130-106 victory. Lawson was drafted by the Timberwolves in the 2009 NBA draft before being immediately traded to the Nuggets. He played with the Nuggets until 2015 where he ended with a franchise-best record of 720 assists. Lawson bounced between the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) and NBA during the 2011 lockout and is currently a point guard for the Fujian Sturgeons.
