The Los Angeles Lakers bested the Golden State Warriors 162-99 in 1972. The 63-point win was a record for almost 19 years when the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Miami Heat 148-80 in 1991. In 1998, the Indiana Pacers further displaced the Lakers victory over the Warriors by defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 124-59.
