On November 3, 1995, the Toronto Raptors defeated the New Jersey Nets 94-79 in their first ever regular season NBA game. The Raptors were lead by Damon Stoudamire, who recorded 10 points and 10 assists in the first game of his career, and Alvin Robertson, who scored 30 points. Stoudamire would go on to win the rookie of the year award, but the Raptors missed the playoffs by a long shot, recording a 21-61 inaugural season.
